Residential Visits

Residential visits take place throughout KS2. We have made changes to the structure of these, so there are slight changes in the next few years before we return to the pattern of a trip to Year 4 and Year 6.

2024-2025

• Year 6 trip  (1 night at Gulliver's Valley) 

2025-2026

• Year 4 two nights at Beaumanor Hall 
• Year 6 Residential (1 night at Gulliver's Valley

2026-2027 onwards

• Year 4- two nights at Beaumanor Hall
• Year 6 Residential ( 4 nights - tbc)

Music Tuition

Peripatetic teachers are available for tuition in piano, keyboard, brass and guitar.

In addition, Y4 pupils have whole-class brass tuition, funded for the first term  by Houghton School Helpers and subsidised in subsequent terms.

After-School Clubs

We continually look for opportunities for a variety of after-school clubs. In 2024-2025 we have:

• Football (KS2 Girls/ KS2 Mixed/KS1 Mixed)
• Science Club
• Excite Club run by St Catharine's Club
• Construction Club
